The Company is mainly engaged in the generation and supply of electricity in Bangladesh.
The Company has been awarded a contract on June 17, 2007 to set up a 20 MW 10 gas power plant at Bogra to produce electricity and to sell the generated power to Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB).
The Company was incorporated in Bangladesh on October 17, 2006 and it was converted into a Public Limited Group on February 26, 2008.
Its shares were listed on Chittagong and Dhakka Stock Exchanges on June 13, 2012.
The Company changed its Year-End from December 2015 to June 2016.
