The Company was incorporated in Bangladesh on November 13, 1996, in the name of Sinobangla Industries Limited under the Companies Act, 1913 and started its commercial operation on November 1, 1997.
The Company was listed on Dhaka Stock Exchange in 1999 and on Chittagong Stock Exchange Limited on March 3, 1999.
The Company is a Joint Venture Project with China.
