Edenred Bulgaria (former Accor Services Bulgaria (ASB)) was established in 2001 as the local unit of the French-owned group of Accor, a leading international provider of social services. The group’s activities are separated in two major areas – hotels and prepaid services.
Edenred Bulgaria attends its customers with four products – Voucher Food, Free-food Voucher in accordance with Ordinance 11, gift voucher Ticket Compliments and Compliments Card. The local voucher-issuer received its license form the Ministry of Finance in 2004. Accor Services Bulgaria started issuing the free-food voucher in 2005.
In 2008 the firm presented its gift and benefit voucher – Ticket Compliments.
In 2010 Accor decided to demerge its two business and newly established company Edenred took over the voucher business. Also in 2010, local Accor Services Ticket Restaurant merged into Accor Services Bulgaria.
