TV Evropa was launched in 2001. It broadcasts coded digital signal over Europe, North America and Middle East using the Eutelsat W2 satellite.
The television has satellite and cable coverage over the entire Bulgaria's territory. The company has long-lasting contracts for data exchange with Reuters and Deutsche Welle. TV Evropa's main studio is located in Sofia, while the secondary correspondent unit is based in the city of Plovdiv.
In 2009, 11.3% of the Bulgarian auditorium watched TV Evropa.
