Industrial group Favorit Hold was set up in 1996 as a privatisation fund under Bulgaria's voucher privatisation programme. The listed fund, formerly known as Aktsioner Favorit Holding, was established by parties related to the official distributor of Czech car maker Skoda for Bulgaria - Euratek. It was transformed into a holding company in 1998.
Favorit Hold holds stakes in companies from the local metal processing, car distribution, trading, machinery manufacturing and accommodation industries.
