The Bulgarian subsidiary of Austria's largest freight forwarding agency Gebruder Weiss was established in 1993.
It is a successor of the local forwarding agency Cargolog Ltd., which launched operations by offering groupage transport.
Cargolog operated five offices throughout Bulgaria by 1999.
In 2001, Gebruder Weiss bought a 52% in the Bulgarian company and renamed it to Cargolog Weiss.
In May 2003, the Austrian company opened a EUR 3.0 million terminal in the capital Sofia.
In 2005, the company was renamed to Gebruder Weiss EOOD.
Currently, the company runs two offices on the territory of the country - in Sofia and Kazanlak.
