Slovenian household appliance maker Gorenje set foot in Bulgaria in the 1970s and opened a trade representation in the country in 1992.
It sells a wide range of powered appliances for kitchen use such as refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, cookers and others.
The company claimed 45% share of the country's cookers market in 2003.
In 2006 the firm opened a 7,000 square meters storage and servicing centre in Bulgaria. The facility features a 300 square meters show room where more than 200 products are displayed.
