Helfi Plastics Ltd. is a local plastics manufacturer. The company, which was set up in 2001, is hundred percent privately owned.
Helfi is engaged in production of plastic items for the food industry, such as trays for chocolate and eggs. The company produces water bottles of 5 gallons as well. Its production capacity is located in the city of Sofia. The trays are made of bio oriented polystirol (BOPS), polyvinylchloride (PVC), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polypropylene (PP) or other types of plastic material with thickness from 0.15 to 1.00 mm. Helfi’s main customer for chocolate trays is Kraft Foods Bulgaria.
In 2007 the company launched a production line for eggs trays, made of PET folio. These trays are produced in six- and twelve-packs.
In 2008 Helfi Plastics started the production of 5 gallon water bottles, made of polycarbonate. These bottles are widely used with mineral water dispensers.
