KD Life was set up in 2006 as a part of the Slovenian finance group KD Group. The life insurer obtained a local operational licence in December 2006.
In December 2010, local firm Finance Consulting acquired full control of KD Life and in March 2011 it was renamed into Life Insurance Company Saglasie.
The company's product portfolio includes Endowment Life Insurance, Unit-linked Life Insurance, Child Insurance, Term Life Insurance, Risk Life Insurance and Group Life Insurance.
