Noviz AD (Bulgaria)

Noviz AD, which was legally formed in 1994 is the successor of Noviz OOD, a company set up in 1991 and exporting Bulgarian food products to Russia, Ukraine and their neighbor countries. Currently, Noviz is a holding company engaged in a variety of business fields – trading with polymers; distribution of home as well as hotel appliances and equipment; managing hotels and restaurants; construction activities; arranging business meeting and conferences; performing certification services, financial and operative leasing.
Noviz imports polymers (HDPE, LDPE, PVC, PP, PS) mainly from Russia, Ukraine, Chezh Republic, Serbia and Egypt. The company’s production facility for polymer products is based in the village of Trud, located 7 km. from Plovdiv. Noviz’s brand-portfolio of home as well as hotel appliances and equipment features Severin, Dimplex, UWE, Alisum, Soleo Aroma Trend, Health, Sybaritic, Johnson and Bentley.
In 1997 Noviz opened the first 4-star hotel in Plovdiv – Noviz Hotel. The same year the company became co-founder and majority shareholder in the Varna-based Kominvest, which owns the 4-star Palm Beach Hotel and the 3-star Palm Park Hotel, both located in Golden Sands Resort.
In 2005 Noviz invested some EUR 3.5 million in construction of Delovi Centar Plovdiv, a business building in the very downtown of the city of Plovdiv. The project was executed by the construction company Sienit.
Noviz is a majority shareholder in Intercontact, which is engaged in arranging business meeting and conferences. The other two shareholders in the affiliate company are the Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Plovdiv and the Business Association – Plovdiv.
In the beginning of 2006 Noviz and Moody International Bulgaria signed a contract for coopeation. Noviz joined the business group of Moody and since the middle of 2006 the company offers certification services for the international standards ISO 9001:2000, NASSR, ISO 22000:2005, and others.
