OZOK Ins AD (Bulgaria)

OZOK Ins Insurance Company AD, formerly known as "OZOK - Health Insurance" AD, is a joint-stock company registered in 2008 under the name "Municipal Health Insurance Fund" AD, with a Unified Identification Code (EIK) of 200140730. The company holds license number 523-ZOD dated May 15, 2008, for voluntary health insurance, issued by the Financial Supervision Commission (FSC). From its establishment until August 2013, the company offered the following products on the market: - Health improvement and disease prevention - Outpatient medical care - Hospital medical care - Additional services - Reimbursement of medication expenses - Dental care In accordance with the requirements of paragraph 29, paragraph 1 of the Transitional and Final Provisions to the Law amending and supplementing the Health Insurance Act (Official Gazette No. 60 of August 7, 2012), "Municipal Health Insurance Fund" AD aligned its activities with the Insurance Code (IC) and was licensed as an insurer under the name "OZOK - Health Insurance" AD, according to Decision No. 619-OZ dated August 7, 2013, by the Financial Supervision Commission. The company obtained a license to carry out insurance activities under Section II, letter "A" of Annex 1 to the IC, as follows: - Item 1 - Accident insurance - all risks - Item 2 - Illness insurance - all risks On August 15, 2013, the corresponding changes following our re-licensing as an insurer were entered into the company's entry in the Commercial Register of the Registry Agency. Since April 30, 2014, our name has been OZOK Ins Insurance Company AD. Subsequently, with Decision No. 968-OZ dated December 18, 2015, the Financial Supervision Commission granted us an additional license to expand the scope of our activities according to Annex 1, letter "A", Section II of the Insurance Code, namely: - Item 7 - "Goods in transit (including goods, baggage, and others)" - Item 8 - "Fire and natural disasters" - all risks - Item 9 - "Other property damage" - all risks With Decision No. 65-OZ dated January 16, 2018, the Financial Supervision Commission granted us an additional license to expand the scope of our activities with another new insurance class from Annex 1, Section II, letter "A" of the Insurance Code, namely: - Item 3 - "Land vehicles (excluding rail vehicles)": Any damage or loss caused to: - Land motor vehicles - Land vehicles other than motor vehicles With a decision from the meeting on March 10, 2020, the Financial Supervision Commission approved the expansion of the scope of the issued license of OZOK Ins Insurance Company AD with a new insurance class according to the Insurance Code, namely - "Miscellaneous financial losses" (all risks): - Risks related to employment - Insufficient income (total) - Bad weather - Missed profits - Prolonged general expenses - Unforeseen business expenses - Loss of market value - Loss of rent or income - Other indirect business losses - Other non-business financial losses - Other types of financial losses.
