Pamporovo AD is the operator of Bulgarian ski resort Pamporovo, which is located in the Rhodope mountains in southern Bulgaria.
The company owns all of the infrastructure and the bus station at the ski resort, as well as the hotel Orlovetz.
The resort reported about 71,000 tourists for the 2003-'04 winter season, up 10% over the previous season.
Overnight stays were 214,000, up by 5.0% over the previous season.
The company, which invested some EUR 10 million in 2004 to upgrade the ski resort's facilities in an effort to attract more skiers and snowboarders, is controlled by local private Economic and Investment Bank through a Swiss-based company.
The posted sales of the company for Q1 2011 amounted BGN 5.56 million, up 15% comparing to Q1 2010. The profit of the company has dropped down with 12%, against the previous year.
