Bulgarian construction company Sofstroy was established in 1948 and has up to date participated in numerous projects for industrial plants and in over 200 residential and public buildings in Bulgaria, Russia and Germany.
The company's services include industrial, road and buildings construction, reinforced concrete element and wooden product manufacturing, leasing of warehouse facilities, laboratory testings as well as contract lifting and other construction services involving technical equipment.
In mid-June 2007, Sofstroi paid EUR 613,800 to domestic firm Nitex Import Export for its 25% stake in local construction company Zavodski stroezhi-PS-Pernik.
In November 2007 Bulgarian private investment company, Alpha Finance Holding, and Balto-Slavic Ventures Limited - a company affiliated to the US-based asset management firm Gramercy Advisors, acquired full stake in Sofstroi for an undisclosed sum.
