Vf Alternative AD-Sofia is the first alternative investment fund in Bulgaria, whose shares are traded on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, that has been listed since May 8th 2019 .
The Company was created in 2018.
The clients of the fund include Bulgarian institutional investors, professional clients - natural and legal persons, as well as foreign institutional investors and individuals.
The Fund's investment strategy includes investment in real estate, real estate and tourism projects, small non-public companies, renewable energy, technology, clean food, aquaculture and agriculture, as well as payment technology and companies. The Fund does not foresee the use of leverage, but it may include derivatives in its portfolio primarily to hedge risk.
The Fund mainly invests in companies in Bulgaria but plans to support investments in other countries, including outside the EU, with a view to higher diversification.
