The Joint Stock Company "Zavod za shlifovachni mashini" (ZSHM AD) was established in 1968 in Asenovgrad. Initially, the company specialized in the production of sharpening machines for metal cutting tools, gradually introducing the first models of grinding machines. In 1974, the first export of a grinding machine abroad was realized. Since 1993, ZSHM AD has been working in collaboration with German companies for the production of components and assemblies. The company also provides service and repair for various types of metal cutting machines. ZSHM AD is a member of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Sofia and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Plovdiv. The company has participated in numerous Bulgarian and international fairs, such as the Plovdiv Technical Fair, the International Machine Building Fair - Istanbul, the Hanover Technical Fair, the International Fair - Damascus, the International Exhibition EMAK - Argentina, and others.
