In 1951 was founded Bearing Repair Works in the city of Grodno, which later specialized in production of driveshafts and was renamed to Grodno Driveshaft Works in 1969. The state-run enterprise was reorganized into Belcard Joint - Stock Company. It was merged with Grodno Plant of Automobile Units in 2007. Belcard is a largest manufacturer of automotive components – driveshafts, brake chambers, shock absorbers and insert cartridges, gas springs. The enterprise has a mechanical assembly, forging, instrumental and mechanical production, and a number of support services and production departments.
