Institucion Financiera de Desarrollo DIACONIA FRIF began operations in 1991, as a project within the Alliance Mission of Norway in Bolivia, with an office in the city of La Paz, near the central Plaza Alonso de Mendoza, granting credits for the purchase of land and housing construction of 21 beneficiaries in the city of El Alto, in 1992 began operations in the rural area of the department of La Paz. Currently Diaconia FRIF - IFD has worked 25 years in the service of the Bolivian population, has 58 agencies throughout the country (except the department of Pando) providing employment opportunity to about 600 officials.
