In the seventies Adelco Sistemas de Energia started is activities by manufacturing equipment for AC and DC power treatment, conditioning and conversion. In 1985 Adelco has got from Petrobras the quality certification level 3, which entitled it to participate in bids for equipment supply for oil refinery plants. Afterwards, it was also certificated as off-shore equipment supplier.
