Liquigas was founded in 1953 and is an integral subsidiary of Petroleo Brasileiro - Petrobras. With the integration to Petrobras, Liquigas consolidated its market leadership in 13 kg canisters - the most commonly used in homes - and its position as one of the largest LPG distributors in the country.
