Through heavy investment in R&D, Monsanto plans to double the revenues from corn seed, soybeans and cotton until 2030, to develop seeds that will reduce by 1/3 the amount of natural resources per unit produced, and share expertise with producers to increase their access to modern agricultural technologies, especially in developing countries. She was named Company of the Year in 2009 by the American financial and business magazine Forbes.
