Internet Group (known by its acronym iG) is a Brazilian broadband provider of Internet access acquired in 2004 by BrasilTelecom and merged the portals iBest and BrTurbo. IG was notable for providing dial-up Internet free of charge service that it continues to give. In addition to the provider, the IG also has an Internet portal, which houses important sites and publishes daily news.
