The company serves 262 cities in the state, representing 51% of all municipalities in the RS. The coverage area of Rio Grande Energia is divided in two regions: Center, based in Passo Fundo and East, headquartered in Caxias do Sul. RGE is part of CPFL Energia Group, one of the largest private groups in the Brazilian electricity sector.
