Freeport Oil Holdings Company Limited was incorporated in 1981. It is an investment company engaged in the wholesale trade of petroleum products, including oil, LPG, jet fuel, and lubricants. It has a sales and purchase agreement with Shell Bahamas for the retail of fuels, lubricants and liquefied petroleum gas throughout the island, covering a network of 60 retail service stations. In addition it is allowed using the shell brand at retail stations in the Bahamas and in the Turks and Caicos markets.
