ENEL Chile S.A. is an electric holding company with the biggest production and supply power of electricity in Chile. ENEL Chile is a product of a structural change that started in April of 2015 in the then called Enersis S.A. which has control over the businesses of generation, transmission and distribution of electricity in Chile and four other countries in the region (Argentina, Brasil, Colombia and Peru). After the process of restructuring was completed ENEL Chile, through its subsidiary- Enel Generacion Chile, has an installed capacity of more than 6300 MW with a generator park comprised of 103 units throughout the Central Interconnected System (SIC) and 8 units in the North Interconnected System (SING) making the company one of the major players in the energy sector of the country.
