Enlasa Generacion Chile S.A. is a company located in Santiago, Chile. It was incorporated in 2007. The company's history includes the inauguration of several power plants, such as Trapén (90 MW), Teno (65 MW), Peñón (90 MW), and Central San Lorenzo (60 MW) in 2009. In 2010, Enlasa established Inersa and Terminal de Gas Caldera, which are affiliated with Empresas Gasco S.A. In 2016, the company expanded the Teno power plant by an additional 6 MW. In 2017, Enlasa implemented a new strategy focused on modernizing operations, brand identity, solar projects, storage, and creating new customer services. In 2019, Enlasa established Highview-Enlasa, a subsidiary dedicated to the development and construction of long-duration energy storage plants. The company achieved solar milestones in 2019 with the acquisition of the RCA Peñón Solar (9 MW / 13 MWp) and the purchase of the Teno Solar project. In 2020, Enlasa created a new Remote Operations Center (COR) for the centralized operation of its own and third-party power plants. The company also introduced GI360, a comprehensive service for the control, supervision, and asset management of photovoltaic plants. In the same year, Enlasa began the construction of the Teno Solar Phase 1 (7.4 MWp). In 2021, Teno Solar, Enlasa's first renewable energy plant, commenced operations in the National Electric System (SEN). In 2022, the company started the construction of the Teno Solar II expansion (2.2 MWp) and the Peñón Solar (10.5 MWp) projects. Additionally, Enlasa initiated the expansion of the San Lorenzo Substation, which will include a 220 kV GIS bar (main + transfer) to connect the Santo Domingo mining project and provide two additional connections with a capacity of up to 200 MW. In the same year, Enlasa obtained environmental approval for its first long-duration energy storage project in Latin America, driven by HVE, with a load of 100 MW, a generation capacity of 50 MW, and storage of 600 MWh, equivalent to 12 hours of continuous generation. Finally, in 2022, Enlasa sold its stake in the affiliated companies Innovación Energía (Inersa) and Terminal Gas Caldera to Empresas Gasco.
