Forestal Constructora y Comercial del Pacifico Sur S.A. is a company located in Santiago, Chile. It was formed in 1954 as a subsidiary of Fábrica de Cemento El Melón S.A. under the name "Inmobiliaria Colón S.A." with the sole objective of constructing affordable housing. In 1960, its purpose was changed to that of a distributor, particularly of construction materials, and it became known as "Zona Sur Proveedora de la Construcción S.A." For over four years, the company operated in the distribution of "Melón" cement, "CAP" steel, and "Pizarreño" sheets in the southern provinces.
