Lenovo exists under that name since 2004. In 1984 Legend Holdings was founded in China, then in 1988 also in Hong Kong. In 2004 Legend Holdings changed its name to Lenovo and in 2005 Lenovo acquired the PC Division of IBM. It is currently the largest PC company in China. It has a capital of 30 billion, is the second largest PC vendor in the world, has more than 30,000 employees in over 60 countries serving customers in over 160 countries
