Transnet operates a network of transmission lines, sub-transmission lines, distribution lines and power substations that guarantees power supply to distributors (HV/MV substations) and residential, industrial and commercial end users. With a 30% market share, the firm serves Chile's regions III and X through a 220kV, 154kV, 110kV, 66kV and 33kV transmission system totaling 3371.4 km. Transnet has proven the technical feasibility of increasing power supply to its clients and the country's central SIC grid. The company is subsidiary of group CGE.
