Universidad Del Desarrollo was founded in 1989 in the city of Concepción. In 1990 it begins with the career of Commercial Engineering and the following years it opens new ones, among which Architecture, Law, Journalism, Civil Industrial Engineering, Social Sciences, etc. In 2017, the University awarded for the first time the Honorary Degree to Mr. Arnold C. Harberger. The Universidad del Desarrollo is among the 40 best universities in Latin America.
