Vidrios Lirquén S.A. is a leading company in the manufacturing, transformation, and distribution of Float Glass. The company's glass is produced at its plant located in the Bío Bío Region, which was founded in 1933. Vidrios Lirquén is the only producer of flat glass in Chile for use in the construction industry. Its shareholders are multinational companies NSG/Pilkington, Saint Gobain, and local group Pathfinder. The NSG/Pilkington Group is one of the world's largest glass manufacturers, selling in over 130 countries and operating in 29 of them, with around 30,000 employees. Over the past 50 years, it has been responsible for major advancements in glass technology. One of the main advantages of Vidrios Lirquén S.A. being part of this group is having a permanent supply in Chile of a full range of special glasses and personalized technical assistance to architects and clients for each of their projects.
