The Company s together its subsidiaries, operates a network of radiotherapy and diagnostic imaging centers in the People s Republic of China.
The Company operates in two segments, Network and Hospital. Its services include linear accelerators external beam radiotherapy, gamma knife radiosurgery, head gamma knife systems, body gamma knife systems, and diagnostic imaging services. The Company s other treatments and diagnostic services comprise computed tomography scanners. In addition, it provides clinical support services, such as developing treatment protocols for doctors, and organizing joint diagnosis between doctors in its network and clinical research, as well as helps to recruit and determine the compensation of doctors and other medical personnel. Further, the company offers radiotherapy and diagnostic equipment leasing, management services, and premium cancer and proton treatment services to hospitals, as well as teleconsultation and medical information technology services; and sells medical equipment. Additionally, it operates specialty cancer hospitals, which offer radiotherapy services, diagnostic imaging services, chemotherapy, and surgery.
History
2007 - The Company was incorporated in the Cayman Islands on November 27, as a limited liability company.
2008 - On July 31, the Company subsidiary Ascendium acquired 100 of the equity interests in China Medstar Pte. Ltd.
2009 - It ADSs, each representing three of its Class A ordinary shares, have been listed on the New York Stock Exchange since December 11, under the symbol “CCM.”
2010 - On April , the Company acquired four radiotherapy and diagnostic imaging centers in Hebei Province.
2012 - On December 2012, the Company acquired 19.98 of equity interests in the MD Anderson Proton Therapy Center, a leading proton treatment center in the world.
2018 - On December, the Company received all the shared consideration from PTC-Houston Management, LP.
2020 - the Company operated a network of 27 radiotherapy centers and diagnostic imaging centers, which are based in 20 hospitals, spanning over 20 cities across 13 provinces and administrative regions in China
2022 In December 2022, the Company entered into a shares transfer agreement with Shanghai Epu Supply Chain Technology Co. Ltd and Shanghai Rongsheng Medical Management Co., Lt
2024 On April 25, 2024, the Company entered into a equity transfer agreement with a third party, Guangzhou Swallowing Home Health Management Co., Ltd. Pursuant to agreement, we would sell its 70 shares it held in New Spring Group and its subsidiary with consideration of RMB2.6 million. On April 26, 2024, it entered into a equity transfer agreement with a third party, Guangzhou Yipusheng Health Management Co., Ltd. Pursuant to agreement, we would sell all the shares it held in Shenzhen Concord Medical Investments Limited.
Effective from July 30, 2024, the Company changed the ratio of it ADSs to Class A ordinary shares from the current ADS Ratio of one ADS representing three Class A ordinary shares to a new ADS Ratio of one ADS representing 30 Class A ordinary shares.
