Gansu Qilianshan Cement Group Co Ltd. is a limited-liability corporation reorganized on the basis of Yongdeng Cement Plant, which was established in 1957. The company’s A shares were listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange on July 16, 1996. As the largest cement producer in Gansu Province, and also the manufacture base of special cement in northwest China, the company is principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of cement products, commodity clinkers and commodity concrete products. It has four production bases located in Yongdeng, Pingliang, Tianshui and Datonghe. The company's major products are cement series products with the brand named QILIANSHAN, including Portland cement, moderate heat Portland cement, road Portland cement, slag Portland cement, compound Portland cement, oil well cement and Portland cement clinkers, among others. The company distributes its products primarily in domestic market. As of December 31, 2010, the company had 11 subsidiaries and one affiliate, which involved in the manufacture and distribution of cement products and commodity clinkers.
