Jiangsu Changshu Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd, also known as Changshu Rural Commercial Bank, was established on November 28, 2001, in Changshu, Jiangsu. It was one of the first rural financial institutions to be restructured as a joint-stock company and was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange on September 30, 2016 (stock code: 601128). The bank has been a pioneer in rural financial reform, introducing strategic investor Bank of Communications as its largest shareholder and investing in seven rural financial institutions. As of the end of March 2023, Changshu Rural Commercial Bank (Group) had total assets of 317 billion yuan, total deposits of 240.2 billion yuan, and total loans of 204.5 billion yuan. The bank has a dedicated focus on serving small and micro enterprises. It established a specialized microloan department in 2009 and developed advanced microloan core technology, serving over 430,000 loan customers. More than 60% of the loans are used to support small and micro enterprises, over 70% are directed towards the agricultural sector, and nearly 80% serve the real economy. Changshu Rural Commercial Bank has also made significant progress in the capital market. Its unique positioning as a microloan bank has attracted investors, and its stock valuation ranks among the top in the industry. It was the first listed rural commercial bank to issue convertible bonds and successfully convert them into shares. The bank has consistently ranked first in the "Gyro" evaluation system for county-level rural commercial banks for five consecutive years and has received an A-level rating for information disclosure from the Shanghai Stock Exchange for four consecutive years. The bank has also been actively involved in the establishment of village and town banks, replicating and promoting the successful "Changshu Rural Commercial Bank Microloan Model." In September 2019, it initiated the establishment of the first investment management-oriented village bank in Haikou, Hainan Province, and currently manages 32 Xingfu village banks in Yunnan, Hubei, Jiangsu, Henan, Hainan, and Guangdong provinces. Changshu Rural Commercial Bank's brand influence has been continuously increasing, ranking among the top 500 in the "Global Bank 1000" list by The Banker magazine for four consecutive years. In 2022, it ranked 419th and was also listed as the 81st largest bank in the "Top 100 Chinese Banks in 2022."
