The company was formerly known as Jinan Department Store (Group) Co., Ltd., which was a state-owned commercial enterprise with above 50 years history. In July 2006, the company launched the innovative reform program "Reorganization + bonus shares," and acquired non-public shares of Xiushui Ruyi project held by Shandong Tianye Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. The main business changed from general merchandise to 'real estate + business'. It became one of the Shandong province real estate listed company, opening a new chapter of the company. The company is currently building the "general Plaza" that integrated all kinds of entertainment and business, and using the remaining land to build "general Plaza" Phase II and III, making it the largest shopping plaza in Jinan city. In February 2010, the company suspended sharing and purchased 100% shares held by Shandong Tianye Gold Mining Co., Ltd. Tianye Group said it would strive to create conditions for restructuring.
