AJE is a multinational holding company in Spain that operates in the beverage industry. It was founded in 1988 and has a presence in 23 countries throughout Latin America, Asia and Africa. The main business activity of Aje is the manufacture of soft drinks and mineral water. The group currently has 32 factories and 13,000 direct and indirect employees. The group has two plants in Colombia and a subsidiary under the name Ajecolombia S.A. The latter was established on 11 January, 2001 and is headquartered in the city of Funza, Cundinamarca region. The subsidiary´s main business line is the manufacture of soft drinks mineral waters and other bottled waters.
