Cooperativa de los Trabajadores del ISS, COOPTRAISS, was created on August 15, 1949, when a group of 204 workers from the then Colombian Social Security Institute met at the Panauto building. Thus, on December 28 of that year resolution No. 820 was obtained by which the Ministry of Industry and Commerce recognized the Cooperative. Today Cooptraiss is a cooperative specialized in savings and credit with a broad portfolio.
