Alliance for Responsible Mining (ARM) is a global initiative that promotes responsible standards and criteria for artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM). The company develops standards and certification systems for responsible and small-scale mining, and has facilitated the formalization and improvement of practices in 15 countries. Alliance for Responsible Mining (ARM) has also worked on projects to reduce health, social, and environmental risks in artisanal gold mining in Burkina Faso. The company has supported over 150 mine organizations, with 8 Fairmined certifications in Colombia, Peru, and Mongolia.
