BATIST Medical Productions S.R.O. is a company located in Červený Kostelec, Czech Republic. It was established in 1992 and initially specialized in producing gauze bandage material. Over the years, the company expanded its production program to include fixation and elastic bandages, hygienic products, cellulose absorbent cotton, and other medical products. In 1998, BATIST Medical opened a modernized factory and distribution center in Červený Kostelec, which includes clean rooms for the production of sterile medical products. The company implemented a quality management system according to EN ISO 13485:2003 norms in 2003 and obtained certification from DVN GL PRESAFE AS. BATIST Medical also holds the CE mark for its products. In 2007, the company opened a branch office in Bratislava, Slovakia, to serve the entire country. In 2010, BATIST Medical split into two separate companies: BATIST s.r.o. for production and BATIST Medical a.s. for distribution. The distribution part was later acquired by the Swedish group OneMed in 2011. In 2018, BATIST Medical Holding acquired OneMed Germany GmbH, OneMed Polska, BATIST Medical Czech Republic, and Slovakia. The German and Polish companies were renamed BATIST Medical. BATIST Medical Holding also acquired the state-of-the-art production facility in Červený Kostelec. In 2019, BATIST Medical obtained a 100% stake in Docworld Portugal and Docworld Spain, which offer a similar portfolio of products and services. The acquisition of Docworld will contribute to BATIST Medical's growth in the European healthcare market.
