COOP Centrum cooperative, located in Prague, was founded in 1993 to consolidate the purchasing activities of consumer cooperatives in Bohemia and Moravia and create a buying alliance in the Czech Republic. The cooperative provides integrated consumer cooperatives with goods and services from around 450 suppliers of warehouse supplies, fresh produce, and building materials. They also organize sales events and competitions, publish customer magazines, and offer other marketing activities. COOP Centrum offers private label products, including the COOP Klasik line with about 80 products aimed at consumers who prefer low-priced goods. They also have the COOP Premium line with 50 items that are marked as high-quality European products at a reasonable price. The latest addition is the COOP Quality Standard series, which offers cheap products from famous brands.
