Primus was founded in 1911 as a manufacturer of household washing and dishwashing machines in Belgium. Only in 1970 did the company’s focus shift to commercial laundry equipment. The Group produces commercial laundry machines for, among others, hotels, restaurants, hospitals, nursing homes, laundromats, multi-housing laundrettes and commercial laundries. Primus covers the whole spectrum of laundry equipment including high-spinning freestanding washers, rigid mounted washers, hygienic barrier washers, tumble-dryers and ironers.
