SETUZA a.s. is one of the biggest producers in the field of food, chemist´s and oleochemical products. Main product groups comprise food products (fats and vegetable oils), chemist´s goods (washing agents, toilet soaps, toothpastes, liquid cosmetic products), and technical materials. Setuza holds a strong position in the toothpaste market in the Czech Republic (42,9%), hardened edible fats market (59,3%) and toilet soaps market (13,4%). The main market territory is the Czech Republic, but company develops export activities aimed at more than 20 countries of the world (Slovakia, Germany, Poland, etc.). Untill year 1992 the company was named Severočeské tukové závody. In 1992 it was transferred into the joint stock company named SETUZA a.s. Ústí nad Labem within the framework of major privatisation scheme. The company is registered on RM System.
