TESLA is the successor of one of the first electrotechnical enterprises in the former Czechoslovakia. It was founded exclusively with Czech capital under the name ELEKTRA on January 18th, 1921. From 1932 to 1945 it was the PHILIPS holding. The production program ranged from light bulbs, electron tubes, radio receivers, military technology to radio and television transmitters.
