Consorcio Energético Punta Cana Macao (Cepm) is a private company in the Dominican Republic's electricity sector. The company generates, transmits, distributes, and markets energy in the tourist areas of Punta Cana, Bávaro, and Bayahíbe. Consorcio Energético Punta Cana Macao (Cepm) provides energy solutions and complementary services, with an available installed capacity of more than 335 MW. The company supplies energy to 65% of the national tourism sector, including over 50,000 hotel rooms and 50,000 customers. Consorcio Energético Punta Cana Macao (Cepm) has introduced technologies to analyze, diagnose, measure, and distribute energy consumption, and has developed the first District Energy system in the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean. Additionally, the company is committed to promoting electric mobility and has invested in wind and photovoltaic solar energy projects. Consorcio Energético Punta Cana Macao (Cepm) has also sponsored activities of social interest and inaugurated a Health and Wellness Center.
