Alimentos Ecuatorianos S.A. Alimec (Ecuador)

Alimentos Ecuatorianos S.A. Alimec is a company located in Quito, Ecuador. It was legally incorporated in 1978 and started its operations in the production and commercialization of spices, seasonings, sauces, and dressings as licensees of the McCormick brand. In November 1999, Alimec S.A. initiated a merger process in which it absorbed three companies: Sociedad Industrial Hertob C.A., Empresa de Lácteos Miraflores Emlacmi, and Zanzi S.A. This merger strengthened the company's product portfolio by entering the dairy and ice cream categories. Currently, Alimec S.A. has three distribution centers in Quito, Guayaquil, and Cayambe. Their industrial area includes a production plant located in Ayora, Cayambe Canton, in the northern province of Pichincha. This plant manufactures products that are highly recognized in the Ecuadorian market and have international quality under the brands McCormick, La Granja, Miraflores, Milano, and Crimy.
