Artes Graficas Senefelder C.A. is an Ecuadorian graphic industry company founded in 1921. With over 100 years of experience, the company has maintained high standards of quality in printing and graphic solutions. It was founded by Wilfrido Moreno Veintimilla and his brother Luis Benjamín, who established the first typography workshop in Guayaquil, naming it AGS in honor of Alois Senefelder, the Czech who discovered the lithographic process in 1796. Initially, the workshop operated with three lithography machines, a writing press, and two auxiliary presses for commercial work. Over the years, AGS collaborated with various government ministries and particularly in the banking sector. In 1975, they established a plant in the southern part of Guayaquil, which served as their headquarters for over 30 years. Despite the constant changes in the national context, AGS remained committed to their work and innovation. They offered a wide range of products, including boxes, labels, magazines, books, calendars, checks, and many others, always incorporating the latest technology of the time. In 2006, AGS acquired a plant in Durán, which now serves as their main headquarters on the Durán-Tambo road. They also have offices in Quito, Cuenca, Manta, and an international office in Peru. After nearly 100 years, AGS continues to be one of the most stable companies in Ecuador, celebrating a century of passion and commitment to delivering the best.
