Banco para la Asistencia Comunitaria Finca S.A., known as Banco Finca S.A., is a financial institution that offers microcredits, savings and investment services. Its main focus is to support micro-enterprises. Currently it belongs to the global organization Finca Microfinance Holdings. The institution was established in the year 1993 under the denomination Foundation for Community Assistance Finca, as a subsidiary of the FINCA Internacional. On March 16th, 2004 is established as a financial company with the aim of providing financial services and products to the poorest families in Ecuador. In the year 2008 FINCA becomes a banking institution.
