Comercial Etatex C.A., located in Quito, is a company that was inaugurated in 1963 with its first commercial store on Guayaquil Street in the city center. Originally known as ALMACENES ETATEX, the company initially focused on selling fabrics, skins, and household items, but later expanded to include clothing. In 1978, they opened a second store on Venezuela Street. On September 14, 1989, the company was officially established as COMERCIAL ETATEX CIA. LTDA. They embarked on a transformation process to evolve from a traditional business to a modern and dynamic company. As part of this transformation, in 1995, the company changed its commercial name to ETAFASHION.
