Empacadora del Pacífico Sociedad Anónima (EDPACIF S.A.) is a company located in Bahia De Caraquez, Ecuador. It was created with the vision of satisfying customer needs and contributing to the socio-economic development of the Coaque and Pedernales sectors. The processing plant of EDPACIF S.A. is situated near the city of Pedernales in the Coaque area, Ecuador (Km. 9.5 Vía Pedernales - Jama). The company started its operations in 2001 and achieved its first export in March of the same year. In 2002, EDPACIF S.A. obtained HACCP certification, ensuring control over critical points in shrimp processing and including product traceability in all production and commercialization operations. Currently, the company holds various certifications such as BPM, BRCGS, ASC CoC, BASC, and is a member of SEDEX.
