AS Viljandi Aken ja Uks was founded with the objective to start to manufacture and market industrially produced high-quality windows and doors. Product range is broad: wooden and wood-aluminium windows, balcony doors as well as external and internal doors. Production includes standard as well as special sizes, windows and doors of dwellings as well as public buildings.

The company has three factories: window factory in Viljandi, Puidu Street 6, door factory in Viljandi, Piiri Street 2A and component factory in Võru County, Saru village.
The factory was founded with the initiative of former companies of KEK system at the end of 1990 (namely 24.09.1990) and the first employees were employed 01.10.1990.
By the end of 1990 the number of employees was 35. In July 1995 the factory got the present owner and the number of employees was 87. Today there are approximately 500 employees.
