Ibnsina Pharma S.A.E. (Egypt)

Ibnsina Pharma is an Egyptian company that started operations in 2001 as a pharmaceutical distribution company under the name Ibnsina Laborex Pharma. Initially, the company was a collaboration between local businessperson Mohamed Abd El Gawad and French Europharma Group, but in 2006 the Egyptian party managed to buy out all French shares and changed the company's name to the present Ibnsina Pharma. Since then, the company's management has pursued aggressive growth strategy, expanding its market share to 13.5% in 2015. Currently, Ibnsina Pharma supplies pharmaceuticals and cosmetic products to more than 30,000 customers including retailers and independent pharmacy chains added to wholesalers and institutional providers. The company cooperates with 360 public, private and multinational pharmaceutical production companies in Egypt.
